The sides of the soles of the shoes have been lined with a colorful metallic material. A mermaid style contouring has been given to this material. The same material has been used to create a strap which goes over the top of the toe area. The back of the heel has an elongated and tall heel cap. The middle of this heel is a zipper closure. This makes the shoes easy to put on and remove. A strap has been added to the top of the heel cap to make an ankle strap.
